City Taxis is Sheffield's leading taxi company with over 750 vehicles operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have GPS technology built into our system which allows us to track all our vehicles at any time and helps us to pick up over 99% of our passengers on time, every time. Sheffield City Taxis was formed in May 2003 and had a fleet of 500 private hire vehicles. Today, we are the largest taxi company in South Yorkshire, operating with over 750 vehicles ranging from private hire vehicles, hackney carriages, wheelchair accessible vehicles, 6-7 seated people carriers, 8-56 seated coaches, executive cars, and with prior notice we can organise female drivers.

We currently have 7 minibuses operating within our fleet that have between 7 and 16 seats. Unless the booking is on account we don't take the bookings for our minibuses but instead pass you the customer their phone number to place the booking directly with them. Our minbus drivers will usually provide you with an instant quote but on more complex journeys they may need to call you back with your quote after the mileage for the journey mileage has been checked and verified.
If you are an account customer please note that you need to make your booking direct with us and not with one of the drivers listed below otherwise the job will need to be paid in cash and won't be invoiced.
