in 2002,<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <div> after a ten year gap.and was run from The Angel public house.</div> <div> This Year it will be run from The Old Harrow public house</div> <div> For the benefit of anyone who has not heard of<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>this old Grenoside event, it restarted in 1950 by Mr.Walter Platts,<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>an old Grenoside resident, and was competed for annually till 1992.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>Mr Walter Platts passed away but his nephew Gary kept the<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>family tradition alive, until work commitments unfortunately forced him<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>to cease being the main organiser.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <div> The event has been revived by a new committee which thankfully<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <div> has another member of the Platts family Matthew.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <div> All competitors will receive a Chase Programme, and on </div> <div> completion of the Chase course will receive a Chase medal. the </div> <div> presentations will be held outside The Old Harrow  public house.<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial"
